Silver Lake is a 969-acre water body in the town of Madison. There are several swimming spots along the shore of the lake, specifically "the foot" of the lake, "Nichols Beach", and "the head of the lake." The rest of the lake has beautiful forests along the shores. Silver Lake is great for fishing, you may catch a rainbow trout here! While you’re already out on the boat, keep in mind that Silver Lake is home to four islands within the lake. - Belmont: Belmont is on the east side of Silver Lake. The town will keep you entertained with Lake Winnisquam Scenic Trails and Lakes Region Casino.
- Tilton: Tilton is located on the east side of Silver Lake. The town has an outlet shopping center, large box stores, breweries, and a diner.
